This was a custom glyph commission, taken a step further - the purple 'heart' in the center is actually a small piece of paua shell that I carved and inset. The cute girly octopus was just going about her business; it was part of her job to go get that computer upgrade. The shark technician was cute and competent and kept asking her to lunch. She was a bit intimidated; after all, he WAS a shark, with all those big pointy teeth... and she didn't even have a backbone. But she agreed, mostly because of that beautiful toothy smile... and the rest is history.

about a month ago I received a Reiki treatment from one of the masters here at work Brian. Reiki for those that don't know is spiritual energy work with areas of the body. During the session I had a wonderful vision of a dragon with its Chakras (energy points in the body) all a glow. The colours and symbols all have meanings which I will list here. 1. Muladhara (red) lower body 2. Swadhisthana (orange) solar plexus 3. Manipura (yellow) navel 4. Anahata (green) heart 5. Vishuddha (blue) throat 6. Ajna (purple) eyebrow or forehead 7. Sahasrara (rainbow) top of head; the "third eye"

An over sized really detailed Badge that doesn't have the name on it yet for KaninZ. Thanks for your patience dude, I hope this was worth the wait. First thing completed in over 2 months, and more on the way. Awesome! I have a lot of harsh criticisms about this piece. Mainly that it made clear to me that I can do fur rendering ok, but the lighting that I was after failed, the whole piece is rather boring, and even the fur itself doesn't look as I really want. I gotta step it up!

A tattoo design of an Aztec were-jaguar... the ground surface is both tiles, and also skin - hence the blood... Done for a guy who is going to get it tattooed on his bicep - I'm looking forward to seeing pics of it when he gets it done =). Done in inks and acrylic paints on 9"x12" illustration board.
